Punta Rosarito Surf Guide

The Seven Sisters area in the south stretches between Punta Cono in the north to Punta Rosarito in the south. Some of the points in this area offer lots of protection from the wind but need a large west or northwest swell to break at all and are unfortunately completely blocked from south swells by Cedros Island further offshore. Other points in the area are much more exposed to the northwest and therefore have more consistent surf, but they also regularly blow out with the afternoon northwest winds. Again, there are some good waves in this area on the best days of a pumping swell but most of the spots offer average wave quality.

The highway is closer to the coast down around Puntas Rosalillita and Rosarito, so in these areas you should also expect to share your waves with lots of other people, especially on the long weekends and holidays.
