6th Ave South Surf Guide

Nondescript beachbreak south of the Jax Pier pressure cooker, 8th Avenue South is probably just as consistent as any other beachbreak around here — consistently so-so. It will, however, accommodate a range of swells and tides, particularly N/NE swells on incoming, but isn't known for handling anything more than a foot or two overhead. It’s divinely spread out, though, with no rhyme or reason to its peaks. Many nor'easter drift sessions end up right around here.
