E swell sets up smaller but fun size thigh-waist high surf with favorable AM winds/conditions.
Leftover E swell is down from days prior but we have another clean morning window with offshore winds. Worth a look on the morning lower tide although shape is a little straight/walled. Smaller for the midday and PM, and onshore southerly winds increase for bump and chop. Still rideable then though so don't write it off.

Directly south of Carolina Beach is Kure Beach, where surfers generally focus on the pier or any of a number of beach accesses, like Alabama Avenue, which sits right at the border between the two towns. Fun waves peel off the outflow pipe on the right swell and the crowd is typically a bit more mellow than some of the nearby, more popular spots. Read more
