Balandra Bay Surf Guide

Located on the East Coast of Trinidad, Balandra Bay could be one of the best waves on the island. Plagued by east-northeast trade winds, even that does not hinder this wave if the sandbars are right.

Known locally as "Rough Side," this wave is not unlike Soup Bowls on neighboring Barbados. The most consistent wave in Trinidad, it usually has some sort of wave to ride even when everywhere else is flat.
