Banana Point Surf Guide

Banana Point is a well-known righthander that runs from the main headland to the rivermouth on the beach. Bananas is a really fun wave, and the headland can also offer some protection from northerly winds. The break gets its name from the local banana plantations of Aourir village, quaintly nicknamed "Banana Village." Popular with longboarders, this pointbreak offers long and friendly waves, often with a picture-perfect lineup. It works at both low and high tide. If you're peckish after a long surf, a short walk into the village will lead you to one of its famous tajine spots.
