Beach Haven Surf Guide
Beach Haven isn’t a specific break but a series of breaks over 2 miles in the Borough of Beach Haven on the southern portion of Long Beach Island. The highlight is Holyoke Ave., which was one of the best lefts on the East Coast before beach replenishment. The famed left is now shorter and not as uniform. Otherwise, these are a series of sandbars that are user-friendly in the summer and more critical in the fall, winter and spring. Best wind is northwest but can handle some north.

Most of the jetties are now short, potentially sweeping northerly drifts can be difficult.
Access
Easy/free parking in the street, can be limited during busy times. Wheelchair accessible. Surfing is permitted outside the swim areas in the summer and beach badge required during guarded hours.

Sand.
Best Season
August to November.
