Dawn to 10:00AM: WNW swell tops out, setting up widespread waves in the shoulder high to 1'+ overhead range. For well exposed areas to the north and south of Monterrey, long-period SSW Southern Hemi will be peaking. Negative low tide mid morning for shape on the drained side. Light+ WSW sea breeze much of the morning.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf edges up. Winds go moderate W onshore for more bump during the back half of the day.

Carmel Beach Surf Guide

One of the prettiest beaches in the world. The sand at Carmel Beach is fine and white and squeaky clean, and sometimes the surf is, too. There are peaks all along this half-mile beach, which change constantly and are best from October to July. The spots are 4th Street, 8th Street and 11th Street. The water is electric blue.
