Mid tide is the go-to, but low tide can fire if the sandbars are good.

Cerro Surf Guide

A lesser-known beachbreak at the south end of Peniche’s north bay (Baía), right at the city’s entry. Cerro offers softer beachbreak waves and quieter sessions. Ideal for a mellow surf or when looking to avoid the crowds at Supertubos or Baleal. Consistent throughout the year, even on average days there’s potential for some long rides if the banks align.
