Coney Beach Surf Guide

Sheltered, sandy bay to east of Porthcawl harbour that works on all tides. Mid-to-high tide generally offering the better peaks. A haven in big swells and a great alternative for novices when Rest Bay is a little too big. In the right conditions it can have a rare, long, winding, low tide righthander at low-tide.

Great spot for beginner, intermediate - especially on the fuller tide. Low-tide can get a little rippy. Offers a little shelter from strong W wind so an option when all other spots are blown-out.
