Etang-Sale-les-Bains Surf Guide
Crunchy beachbreak a short drive from St Leu on the same west coast of Reunion. A good choice for when the swell is minimal, which isn't very often. L'Etang Sale is frequently too big for board surfing, but bodyboarders love the thick pits. Surfing over sand is a nice change from most of Reunion's other waves, which are shallow and sharp coral reefs.
