Ideal Surf Conditions
Swell Direction
Generally worth checking on a W to NW swell that is approximately 2 m and higher. SW swells need a little more for it to work as the island “Gaukværøya” just off the coast alleviates some of the swell power. The wave is also strongly affected by passing storms, and one to three days after a powerful storm usually creates waves that are a lot bigger than on normal days. Keep an eye out for these days, as the winds are also usually favorable a couple of days after a big storm.

Just a stone's throw away from G-frame you find a more advanced wave. The spot is suitable for intermediate surfers. On the right conditions it gets steeper and more hollow than the G-frame wave. The wave breaks both ways, with the left being safer with less rocks and a deeper channel.
