Grupuk Surf Guide
There are three spots inside pretty Grupuk Bay. Outside Grupuk is located out at the western tip of the bay's headland. It is a big, jacking, but short, right-hander that is seldom surfed. The inside reform peak is very fun and much easier than the outside bomb peak. The right is always better than the left, but neither packs a whole lot of punch. Farther inside the bay is another right that typically is better than the other peak. Basically, this bay has something for everyone if you're not looking for Desert Point-style barrels. It is a site of potential crowding as most surf charter boats stop here.
