Hoek van Holland Surf Guide

In the northerly lee of the bustling entrance to Rotterdam harbour, this long stretch of golden sand is sheltered from southwesterlies by the huge breakwater. It's a consistent spot for any windswell coming out of the north, producing peaky, rolling waves popular with longboarders, that are transformed into quality fast, brown, barrelling lefts and rights when a groundswell hits -- with hollow A-frames from waist to head high.
