La Madrague Surf Guide
This long stretch of sand north of Sables d'Or is a great spot on a small swell with excellent peaks producing fun lefts and rights at low to three quarter tide. Can be punchy and hollow when the swell picks up, but doesn't really handle too much size before it becomes a close out. Busy in the summer due to the big car park and easy beach access.
Local Vibe
Pretty chilled, but competitive.
Crowd Factor
Super crowded in summer, always busy when good - but less so than nearby breaks.
Spot Rating
Consistent, fun peaks that aren't quite as good as the banks to the north and south, but tend to be less crowded as a result.
Shoulder Burn
OK when small, can be a hell paddle when size picks up.
Water Quality
Good, can be polluted after rains.

Crowds, rips.

There is a large car park and facilities with easy beach access.
