La Pointe au Sel Surf Guide

Further to the south from St. Leu is La Pointe au Sel, a fast left with a shallow and sharp reef. It can be a good wave with much lighter crowds than St. Leu, but it is vulnerable to the relentless southeast wind. When it's on it's a critical wave with little room for mistakes. Like so many spots on Reunion Island, the place has a reputation for sharks.
