La Ticla Surf Guide

The mouth of the Ostula River is a reliable wave machine. While La Ticla is open to swell from the S to NW, it will produce its best work in the spring, summer and fall, when proper S swells are pouring in. The wave itself is an A-frame that breaks over sand and cobbles and provides long walls and feathering barrels. Due to its consistency, La Ticla has become a hot spot in this region of mainland, thus it can become crowded when a swell is running.
