Lance's Right is a front-lit tube studio. The barreling right-hander is a must stop for most Mentawai boat trips, which makes it one of the most crowded. The irony is, as perfect as it looks, the wave is deceptively challenging, and a slab of reef known as the "surgeon's table" awaits the flesh of the under prepared.
