Usually a winter spot, the Marina Herzliya shines on those big, stormy days when every spot around is blown out, since the breaking waves go through the deep-water channel at the entrance of the Marina. Usually an A-frame beachbreak kind of wave that, with protection from the Marina itself to the south, can handle almost any southerly wind up to 30 kts.
Local Vibe
Usually mellow, but can get quite aggressive from time to time.
Crowd Factor
Most of the time the peak will be full of SUPs and longboarders, although you can still find it with thin crowds once in a while.
Spot Rating
Needs a good sandbar to work properly.
Shoulder Burn
An easy paddle if you stick to the T-shaped jetty on the north side.
Water Quality
Bad. The Marina is located right in front of the main rainwater drainage of the entire city of Herzliya.
Hazards
Clueless crowds.
Access
Either find a spot on the street, which can be difficult on good days, or go into the parking lot, which can be expensive.

Sand.
Best Season
November-April.
