Matanzas Inlet Surf Guide
The north and south sides both break well, but the best spot is smack in the middle of the Inlet. The problem is, it's shark-infested. There are some really good areas though, especially for longboarding with long gently breaking waves. The southern area of this beach is well suited for surfers of all ability levels.

None really.
Crowd Factor
Light - just you and the fish.
Spot Rating
There is an outside wave when bigger that involves some paddling. South of the inlet it breaks closer in and is a very good longboard wave, even when small.
Shoulder Burn
Lots of paddling on those far outside days; easy when it's smaller longboard type surf.
Water Quality
Looks murky but some of this are natural tannins that come out of local rivers.

Big fish.

Park on the hill on the south side.
