Meio da Baía Surf Guide
The central stretch of Peniche’s North Bay features a sandy bottom and offers different banks with multiple left and right peaks suitable for all skill levels. An ideal spot for both beginners and intermediate surfers, it can form pretty mellow rides with the occasional barrel. The wavelength can vary depending on swell size, period, and the shape of the sand banks. A good getaway spot for south wind days when most of Portugal’s coast is onshore.
