Decent size but onshore W spoils the party with generally bumpy, lower-quality surf through the PM.
PM Outlook: Breaks that offer a bit of wind protection are doable if you really want to get wet, but the wide open beachbreaks are pretty sloppy and will likely remain so for the rest of the day. SSW swell mix and some short period windswell are providing the surf.

This stretch of sometimes-peaky beachbreak fronted by mismatched condos is the bellwether of surfing in central San Diego. There is always a little something breaking here. The beach receives action from NW to SW swells and is a year-round spot. Wave shape is mediocre to good, but is certain to change with tide and shifting sandbars.
