Oxwich Bay Surf Guide
A stunning, wide sandy beach that's easily accessible. The beach break is very novice friendly when a small swell is running but can be a challenge during a BIG winter storm. The latter is when the crowds arrive. Experts can try their luck with the right point that needs some size to really get going.
Local Vibe
A talented local crew will be on it during the best days of the year so share nicely. A big beach so you can walk a little to east to find a quieter peak.
Crowd Factor
Can get busy when it's working in a big winter storm as it can be one of few options available.
Spot Rating
Good when it's really on but these days are limited as it's a fairly sheltered spot.
Shoulder Burn
Only the biggest swells will be a challenge.
Water Quality
Good
Hazards
Rocks to the west of the beach
Access
Private car-park at the beach. Disabled access to the beach can be a little tricky as the path from car-park to sand can be uneven.
