Most of the time it’s a shifty beachbreak with lots of closeouts spilling over a sand bottom. But every few months, as sand banks fill up and conditions align, Palmachim can turn into an A-frame barrel fest, then disappear just as quickly as it arrived.

Mellow crowds create mellow locals.

Usually a mellow spot, except during summer vacation when it can get super crowded.

While usually a fast closeout, Palmachim can turn into a tube fest when conditions align, which happens a few times a year.
