Pottuvil Point Surf Guide

Another playful right-hand, sand-bottom point in the vicinity of Arugam Bay, on a good south swell, Pottuvil Point begins way up the point and can run just meters from the shore for almost a kilometer. There are a couple tricky sections along the way, and in some places the wave breaks so close to shore you run the risk of smashing into a boulder. But if you can navigate the obstacles, you'll get some of the longest waves of your life, rideable even at a foot on a longboard.
