Puerto Cardiel Surf Guide

One of the many waves that are part of the northern beach of Mar del Plata, called La Perla, a beach composed of tens of small points that offer all sorts of pointbreaks over a couple of miles.

Being farther north of the city, this long stretch of beach is ideal to find some uncrowded waves during the summer months, although the most known spots, like Cardiel, will still see quite a few surfers in the water and most of the beach is crowded with summer tourists.

Cardiel is one of the best waves of the northern Mar del Plata. It's a really good right-hander that breaks along a pier in the middle of Perla Beach and can reach a solid 6-foot on a good swell.
