Puntas Surf Guide

This beautiful and somewhat fickle left reef/sandbar combo can get super good, with just the right (south) wind and the correct buildup of sand over the reef. It breaks directly in front of a rocky outcropping, and once it hits a few feet overhead it can get pretty round through the inside section. In addition to blowing out with the tradewinds, the only slight bummer about Sandy Beach is that it's mainly one peak -- and the locals known it better than you. Trust us.
