Queenscliff Surf Guide
At the very north end of Manly beach is Queenscliff, another creek setup, with plenty of sand build-up on the banks. Every now and then there's a good left off the point but rights into the rocks are more common with a strong rip along the rocks. This wave can be excellent, depending mainly on sandbank conditions. There's often a good left and lesser rights further south and usually a good, reforming shorebreak. Queenscliff Boardriders Club tend to be very active on this break so it should be approached with caution.

Moderate. Fairly crowded if the surf is on.

7/10 for its consistency and when it's good, it's great.
Shoulder Burn
Light, classic beachbreak paddle out -- if you find a rip that will help make it even lighter.
Water Quality
Clean, however if it rains, or worse, the creek breaks, the water is poor.
Hazards
Rocks, rips, sharks, crowds and shorebreak.
Access
Beach Parking On North Steyne Road, Manly Ferry Then Walk Or Catch the 199 bus from manly or anywhere north on the Northern Beaches and walk a bit from Pittwater Road.
Bottom
Sand and rock.
Best Season
March-August.
