Raglan Surf Guide

Raglan has long been considered one of the world's best left pointbreaks. Situated on the west coast of New Zealand's North Island, Raglan boasts six different sections of varying quality, speed and conditions. Manu Bay is the first section on the inside of the point, followed by Boneyards, Whale Bay, the Valley, Indicators and Outsides. The point largely consists of basalt boulders, and has the ability to tame relentless Southern and Tasman ocean swell and turn 'em into long peeling lines with its slightly sheltered coastline. Manu Bay also remains very surfable in the prevailing southwest winds that blow for a solid chunk of the year.
