Saltaire Surf Guide

The island is a 10-plus-mile sandbank that offers endless beachbreaks only occasionally interrupted by groins. Shifting bars mean good waves one day and no waves the next -- adding to the overall frustration of lack of mobility. Needless to say, the island is consistent and it is uncrowded.
