Fun size tropical swell from Fausto peaks. AM window the time to target, cleaner than Wed

Dawn-10am: Starting out up a bit from Wed as Fausto peaks. Mid-period S swell will be good for widespread fun (waist-chest high'ish waves) at SD County's better breaks, with top spots head high+ at times as some other SPAC swell blends in. There's also some NW windswell in the mix then to help out the beachbreaks.

Also watch outfor some S to N current and water temps a little chiller than past couple days. Variable to light W wind crumble.

Afternoon Outlook: Breezy W onshores return.

Scripps Surf Guide

Scripps Pier, home of the Scripps Institute of Oceanography, can occasionally have more defined sandbars, especially on the south side, than ones found just south at La Jolla Shores. Sandbars tend to get more defined after big swells and/or periods of rain.
