Dawn to 10:00AM: Healthy SSW Southern Hemi tops out, as secondary NW swell edges up, setting up chest to head high+ waves at good summertime breaks, while standouts hit overhead. Nice incoming tide push follows a mid morning negative low. Light/variable to a light sea breeze for the morning.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf size holds. Winds turning to a light+ W-WSW afternoon sea breeze.

Situated north of Pismo Beach and south of Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo County, Shell Beach enjoys a little bit more exposure, and therefore more consistency.
