Silver Strand Surf Guide
Silver Strand is one of the better beachbreaks in California when it's on. The mile-long stretch of sand is bordered by the Channel Islands Harbor on the north and the ocean entrance to the Port of Hueneme on the south and takes northwest swells and funnels 'em into a-frame peaks up and down the beach. The offshore Hueneme deepwater canyon helps funnel swell here, and creates peaks where other beaches in the area can be closeouts.
