Slabs Surf Guide

Heading east from Fort Picken's, you'll hit Slabs, one of Pensacola's many spots named for markers that don't exist anymore. Slabs is a consistent, left-and-right beachbreak that can get very crowded. It used to break in front of the remnants of an old parking lot. The wave is 500 yards west of the former Pensacola Pier.
