Three Cliffs Surf Guide
There aren't many more iconic beaches in Wales, the three cliffs from which the beach gets it's name provides a spectacular shoreline. If slightly quieter beach break peaks are your thing then the walk here is worth the effort. Not as consistent as more exposed breaks in the region but it doesn't take that much swell to get it going, especially on more S swell events.
Local Vibe
Dedicated, talented crew surf here when it's on so say hi and share waves. Lower-tide offers a wider beach and quieter peaks.
Crowd Factor
Less crowd than nearby Langland and Caswell but still busy on the best days
Spot Rating
As back drops go there aren't many better. The beach-break peaks can we super-fun when it all lines up.
Shoulder Burn
When bigger swells are running it can be a challenge.
Water Quality
Good. Occasional sewage overflows into Pennard Pill during heavy rainfall events.
Hazards
A wide open beach but avoid the three cliffs as the tide pushes in

Access to the beach includes rough terrain. Car-park Three Cliffs Holiday Park, alternative parking near Gower Heritage Centre.
