Just south of the San Onofre Power Plant is Trails, basic beachbreaks that are generally uncrowded and can get good and punchy when there's a combo of SSW and WNW swells running.

Not so much.

Pretty empty.
Spot Rating
Pretty average beachbreak most of the time. Especially when compared to the nearby waves at Trestles.
Shoulder Burn
Average most days but can be a lot of work when it is pumping.

Typically OK, but gets dicey after a rain.

Juvenile white sharks.
Access
Exit Basilone and head south until you reach the State Park gate, then pick your trail.
