Today

Mostly small but maybe a late afternoon slight lift in size. Winds best before this though.

Not too much to get excited about today as WSW mid-period swell eases, before we perhaps see a renewal towards dark. Mostly about waist high for exposed breaks, perhaps with a few slow chest high sets for most exposed outer reefs and beachies. Then perhaps a few more consistent chest to perhaps head high sets just before dark.

NW winds this morning for cleanest conditions, then going a bit more W to even WSW later afternoon chopping up exposed beachies and outer reefs just as swell builds.

Apollo Bay Surf Guide

A sheltered beach break offering small, soft waves inside the bay, protected by Cape Otway. Works in minimal swell with clean conditions.

For more advanced surfers, nearby Marengo Reef provides larger, more powerful waves.
