Today

Decent to solid surf, best through the morning on premier reefs. Well OH building to 2xOH.

Plenty of mid period WSW swell wraping in, Oh to well OH with the odd bigger set this morning for premier reefs, smaller options for more sheltered breaks. Building through the day and we should see consistent 2xOH sets for the arvo.

Cleanest this morning with WNW winds - but more exposed beachies and outer reefs already picking up cross shore chop. Then winds trend slowly W from around noon. Main reefs still surfable but getting a bit more wind affected, cleaner smaller options available.

Torquay Point Surf Guide

A partially sheltered point break offering soft, peeling waves over reef and sand. It works in small to moderate swell and provides long, cruisy rides with high consistency. On larger swells, it can carry more power along with a strong sweep. More experienced surfers can paddle around to Haystacks to escape the crowd. On a good day, it can break all the way through to Drainos in front of the kiosk.
