Waist high short period windswell builds as onshore winds increase.
A stalled frontal system keeps us with SW/SSW winds locally and that produces another day of rideable windswell for the area. The quality and shape will be lacking, but it'll be worth trying to find some time to get in the water. Expect the surf to steadily build today with the most size towards late this afternoon and evening.

After running south from Ocracoke, the coastline bends sharply west to Beaufort Inlet, which is where the Banks come to their glorious end.
