Rideable for EI with knee-thigh high surf. Cleanest in the AM before onshores rebuild.
Not much surf to target with most AB spots checking in nearly flat. EI again shows more size with ESE swell up to knee-thigh high. Very user-friendly there. Conditions are semi-clean through the AM with light NW winds. PM onshore breezes add texture and bump so I would look to grab a few this morning for best conditions.

This break is practically located right between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. The Steamer tends to break with a bit more punch than the pier but lacks the consistency. The lineup can get hairy on a bomb south in the summer, but most of the year, crowds aren't that big of a deal. Read more
