Cape Romain Surf Guide
Cape Romain is the most exposed spot on the South Carolina coast. Before venturing to Bulls or Cape Romain, it's probably a good idea to let the Coast Guard know...in case you go missing. This entire area is characterized by vast stretches of salt marsh and wooded maritime islands.This spit of sand/beachbreak is only accessible by boat, and it does get surf that the rest of the state doesn't see. Works on all swells and is especially well-exposed to hurricane energy.

Mostly a left breaking into deep water channel. Highly fickle and exposed to wind, but can be a quality wave.

Surfing an open ocean shoal so plenty of current, you will pretty much always paddling.

Sharkier than average. Strong currents. No one around to help you if you injure yourself so take precaution.
