Onshore wind settles, still a stack of swell through the morning
Dawn-to-Midday: sheltered breaks the go through the morning and there will be a fun wave tucked in out of a W breeze and the brunt of the swell. Earlier the better. Swell energy starts to fade towards lunchtime.
Afternoon Outlook: mellower waves for the floatier boards at sheltered breaks in the afternoon, if you want more size exposed breaks will still be head-high+ through low-tide - onshore SW wind on it a little. If you're surfing late aim for breaks that handle increasing SSE wind.

Pembrey Surf Guide
Cefn Sidan as it's known in Welsh is an eight-mile stretch of golden sand and one of the treasures of Pembrey Country Park. Perfect spot for beginners when there's a gentle swell and light wind conditions - intermediates can also find quite peaks away from other more crowded spots. Gently sloping sand-bars produce perfect learner waves mid-to-high-tide. Beware of restricted MOD land to the north. Read more
