Penarth Surf Guide

A once a decade spot if you're lucky. Only the biggest winter storms will push swell around Laverock Point and into the beach front at Penarth. A very rare combination of the right sized swell, the right period and the right tide will produce a righthand wave to the south of the pier. The rarest bird. Strong E wind will produce wind-chop here but never really big enough of a quality to surf.
