Dawn to 10:00AM: W swell tops out, as a new long-period SW swell gradually inches up, setting up shoulder high to 1'+ overhead waves and some peaks at best combo breaks. Light SSW winds much of the morning. Draining low tide later morning.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf size holds. Low-end moderate WSW winds peak mid afternoon, then slowly ease into the evening.

The westernmost burg in the contiguous United States, Port Orford is one of those places that's only worth surfing when the northwesterlies are howling. A sweeping, south-facing cove surrounded by dense woods, rivers and lakes, it's a real niche surfing area.
