Fun, chunky surf with strong SSW/S winds. Biggest surf in a while -- take advantage.

Stronger windswell with better spots seeing surf in the waist to chest high range while standouts are bigger than that. SSW/S winds mean spots that are biggest are choppy and disorganized but some wind protection offers cleaner conditions and better shape.

It has been a while since we had some surf, so try to make the most of it.

Twin Piers Surf Guide

Bradenton's best break for surfers seeking a little punch is Twin Piers. Don't let the name fool you; there are actually three, so keep that in mind as you head south on the beach road. If you run into a crowd, keep looking north or south. Read more
